MAGNITUDE OF THE PROBLEMS About 500 million individuals currently suffering from Hepatitis B or C worldwide. 12% Pakistanies have Hepatitis B or C. 1/3rd beds of every Teaching Hospital is occupied by Liver related patient. In Faisalabad and its surroundings prevalence of Hepatitis C is 22%.

HISTORY: Liver Foundation Trust is an NGO established and registered in June 2003. Service block handed over to us in January 2004. OPD started on 1st Nov 2004, officially inaugurated by the Honorable Governor on 6th Jan, 2005.
